Valle Catholic students along with students from St. Agnes (Bloomsdale) and St. Joseph’s (Zell) attended the 14th annual Conservation Field Day at Mississippi Lime Kiln Park sponsored by the Ste. Genevieve Soil and Water Conservation District on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.
The programs, staffed by members of the Soil and Water Conservation District, Missouri Department of Conservation, University of MO Extension, Natural Resource Conservation Service, and others. Some of the stations this year were Bug Bingo, Forestry, Predator vs Prey, Back Yard Bass, and the ever popular Stream Table.
The students and parent/grandparent chaperones brought their own lunches. A special thanks to Gilster-Mary Lee for furnishing drinks.
