On Friday, May 8, 2015, Valle Catholic School welcomed representatives from the Archdiocese of St. Louis’ Annual Catholic Appeal to the 8:00 Mass at Ste. Genevieve Catholic Church. The reason for the visit was twofold: to honor ACA Essay Winners and to present the school with a donation check.
The $125,000 check was accepted by essay winners: Sally Heil, daughter of Jeff and Kelly Heil, Emily Roth, daughter of Chad and Sherry Roth, and Madeleine Drury, daughter of Kenny and Teresa Drury, all juniors at Valle Catholic High School.
Representing the Archdiocese was ACA Executive Director, Brian Niebrugge, who shared the importance of the Annual Catholic Appeal and the good works the appeal supports throughout the Archdiocese. Also representing the Archdiocese was Thomas Heeger, ACA Council Member. Also pictured are Father Dennis Schmidt, pastor the Church of Ste. Genevieve and Father Gregory Klump, assistant pastor.
