The Christmas season is a very busy time for most folks. Busy moms are cooking and baking, sales clerks are working late and letter carriers are swamped. Valle Catholic tried to help folks relax a little and enjoy the spirit of the season by spreading some Christmas cheer.
Students from Valle Catholic High School led by their Religion teacher, Mrs. Jan Weiler spent Sunday evening, December 15th caroling around Ste. Genevieve. They visited the Care Center and several neighborhoods.
On Thursday, December 19th Fifth Graders from Valle Catholic spread some Christmas cheer to the residents of Riverview at The Park in Ste. Genevieve. They entertained the residents with many Christmas carols. A special treat came in the form of student musicians who shared their talents with the residents by playing Christmas carols on the piano and guitar. The students then shared their homemade cards with the residents.
