Juniors and seniors of Valle Catholic High School, under the guidance of Religion teacher, Mrs. Jan Weiler, spiritually adopted babies in October and recited the Archbishop Fulton Sheen Prayer for Spiritual Adoption of an Unborn Baby each day. On May 8th they celebrated the “birth” day of their babies.
The celebration began with a Pro-life prayer service as each student named their baby. Students brought in baby gifts which were given to the Ste. Genevieve Area Center for Life . Archbishop Fulton Sheen Prayer for Spiritual Adoption
of an Unborn Baby:
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very
much. I beg you to protect the life of the
unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted.
Mary, our Mother in Heaven, pray for us,
and especially for your little ones!
Because God loves every baby He creates,
I promise to pray for my spiritually adopted
baby for 9 months.
