The Valle Catholic Kindergarten Class of 2014-2015 held their Mass of Celebration on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Associate Pastor Father Gregory Klump was the celebrant.
Kindergarten students served in all the liturgical roles as readers, Alex Staab and Eli Wehner; gift bearers Ben Calbreath, Kailyn Warren, Lily Ringwald, Cole Bauman, Ethan Warren; psalm readers, Lane Cole, Grace Hermann, Rylan Rayoum; Presentation narration, Brody Bertrand, Colton Kutz, Trevor Roth; Super Hero Poem read by Annie Heberlie, Kaden Williams, Paige Gielow and Caroline Roth; and petitions by Elcie Schweigert, Evan Viox, Sam Kuehn, and Sydney Wilkerson.
Students were assisted by Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Elizabeth Bertrand and Mrs. Amy Wood along with teacher’s aide, Mrs. Carol Klein. Cantor was Mrs. Elaine Blair and organist was Mr. Al Keiser.
During the Mass and before the presentations of certificates by Principal, Dr. Mark Gilligan, the students added their capes and masks as “Super Heroes for Jesus”. Following Mass a reception was held for students and families at the DuBourg Centre.
