On Friday, May 9, Valle’s kindergarten held its Shadow Day.

Thirty – three prospective students attended for learning and fun. That morning, the children heard a superhero story, listened to two members of the Kindergarten Christian League speak about being a superhero for Christ, and decorated their own masks for their own superhero induction next fall. Then the children went to recess with the current kindergarten students. Shadow Day was under the direction of current kindergarten teachers, Diahann Bieser and Jill Metzger, along with Amy Wood, a kindergarten teacher for the ’14 – ’15 school year, and Valle aide, Carol Klein.
