Allyson Doza of Valle Catholic High School Class of 2015 was recently awarded the Miriam S. Steiger Nursing and health Care Scholarship. Presenting the scholarship was Mr. Robert Steiger, husband of the late Miriam Steiger.
Steiger and his children set up the scholarship to honor his late wife who had a lifetime career in nursing and to help Valle graduates. Allyson was humbled to receive the award and stated that she would “do my best to become a nurse that Miriam would be proud of!”
