The Scholastic Book Fair will be here during our Craft Fair the weekend of December 5 and 6. An online fair will also run from November 23 – December 6, with delivery of orders guaranteed before Christmas. A sign up for volunteers to help with the fair is now open on School Speak. I am looking for assistance in setting up the fair, running the cashier station and breaking it down. Any and all help is appreciated!
Please come shop our fair, or get online and browse books there. Books make great Christmas gifts! If our profit from the fair is less than $2,200 we will receive 40% of the profit in new books for our libraries. If we exceed $2,200, 50% of the profit goes toward new books and library materials. So the more books we sell, the more books we earn for our school.
Mrs. Carla Basler and I have plans this December to visit the Scholastic Warehouse Sale where we will fill boxes of new books for our Valle students.
