On Monday, October 27th, Valle Catholic Student Council put together a catapulting pumpkin contest among students of the student body. Two teams had a week to construct their own catapult and bring it back to school for the competition. Student Council provided the pumpkins to catapult.
One team was Kyle Fallert and Michael Buchheit and the other was constructed by Logan Tucker and Austin Pennell. The catapults were judged by randomly-selected teachers based on construction, creativity, and distance. The winning entry belonged to Logan and Austin.
