Students Honored for Sportsmanship and Character

A number of years ago the Perry County School District implemented a character education program into their classroom curriculum. They later expanded it to include their sporting activities. As part of that program, their student athletes are asked to nominate an athlete from an opposing team who demonstrates good character and sportsmanship during a game. A Character Athlete Breakfast Brunch is held every spring to honor those nominated.

Four students from Valle Catholic High School were honored recently by the Perry County School District.
