Valle Catholic High School hosted a four-day summer volleyball camp for girls in grades five through eight who attend grade schools in the area.
Ffty-nine girls attended the camp, which was held July 25, 26, 29, and 30.
The seventh and eighth grade camp ran each morning from 10:30 to 12:30 and the fifth and sixth grade camp ran from 12:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each afternoon.
The emphasis of the camp for both age groups was on learning fundamental volleyball skills, teamwork, and the importance of
Nancy Fischer and Carla Stoll, Valle High School’s volleyball coaches, directed the camp.
More than 30 of the high school volleyball players, freshmen through seniors, also assisted during the camp.
