Valle Students Flex Their Money Muscles

Recently, students in grades 9-12 at Valle Catholic High School had the opportunity to participate in the Missouri Personal Finance Challenge.  Students signed up in teams of four to compete at the regional level.  Each team completed an online exam that covered topics in earning income, protecting and insuring, using credit, buying goods and services, saving and financial investing.  Forty-eight students from Valle “flexed their money muscles” to compete.  Two teams from each region will advance to the state competition which will be held in Warrensburg in April.  The Valle competition was co-sponsored by First Bank of Ste. Genevieve.
