During October the 4th and 5th Graders studied the many different vessels used during the Church’s liturgical celebrations. The students were given a first hand tour of the sacristy by Ste. Genevieve Pastor, Father Edward Nemeth.
Each class was shown a variety of vestments, chalices, monstrances, patens, and reliquaries, some dating back to the 1800s.
4th Grade students got to visit the basement and the 5th Graders got to see one of their classmates wearing Father Nemeth’s vestments.
