The Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association (MHSVCA) recently held their All State Banquet at Jackson High School. Honored were Sr, Susan Roth 2nd Team and Soph, Hannah Bahr, Honorable Mention.
Coach Nancy Fischer was the Peggy Johnson Award Winner.
Peggy Johnson coached at Ste. Genevieve for many years. She coached her teams to four (4) final four appearances, two in which Ste. Genevieve won the state championship. Peggy is considered one of the best to have ever coached in Missouri. During her coaching career she had a massive stroke and in recent years passed away. The award was established in the 1990’s in honor of her dedication to the sport of volleyball. Coaches who receive the Peggy Johnson show commitment and dedication to the sport of volleyball.
