Valle Catholic High School is pleased to introduce Mr. Greg Miller as its next principal, effective July 1, 2019.

“We are very excited to welcome Mr. Miller to the Valle Catholic family! I truly believe he is a visionary leader who will drive our pursuit of excellence in all aspects of the Valle Catholic experience,” said Valle Catholic President, Father Edward Nemeth.

Mr. Miller currently serves as chair of the Theology Department at Chaminade College Preparatory School in St. Louis, Mo. Prior to his position at Chaminade, he was a guidance counselor and theology teacher at St. Francis Borgia High School. He also served as the Assistant Principal and Director of Campus Ministry at St. John the Baptist High School.
Mr. Miller has earned a B.A. in Psychology from St. Louis University and Vanderbilt University and holds a M.A.P.S. in Theology with a focus in preaching from Aquinas Institute of Theology. Mr. Miller is currently completing a Masters in School Administration from St. Louis University.

“I’m excited about joining Valle Catholic for many reasons. My wife and I spent some time in Ste. Genevieve for part of our honeymoon, and we love the countryside and are fond of the town. The possibility of the position first presented itself when we came down for our 6th anniversary and to visit Fr. Miloscia. Seeing the enthusiasm and warmth toward Fr. Miloscia and Fr. Nemeth affirmed my impression that the community takes joy and strength from its Catholic identity. That is the way things should be, and too often are not. There is also a beauty to smaller school communities and an ethic of life that is focused more on relationships than checking tasks off a bureaucratic list. I’m excited by the opportunity to help strengthen and grow such a community, and walk toward our common calling of holiness with its members,” said Miller.

Mr. Miller and his wife, Ewa (pronounced Eva), are the parents of two children, Miryam and Michael. They are parishioners at Assumption-Mattese in South St. Louis County. They are active in the ACTS community. Mr. Miller is a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society, previously holding the position of president. He is also active in the Frassati Young Adult Conference.

Mr. Miller will succeed Father Nemeth, who is serving as interim principal for the 2018-19 school year. Fr. Nemeth will retain his current position of President of Valle Catholic Schools.
