Health
Health is a semester course that is required for all students. Students learn about total health-physical, mental and social well-being. Health is structured toward wellness and preventive health as well as safety measures. Health helps students choose responsible behaviors and improve and safeguard one’s health. Students will study health, including CPR and First Aid training, and receive Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Certification. Multiple guest speakers will present on topics including vaping, drinking/driving, BMI testing and charting your body’s growth throughout the year.

Physical Education

Physical Education promotes the development of fitness, knowledge of rules, self-esteem, sportsmanship, and cooperation as an individual or among teammates.

Open to Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors

Servant Leadership/Weight Training
This course focuses on teaching the students the Servant Leadership model exemplified by Jesus. Students study multiple books, articles, speeches and videos. They are taught the true meaning of leadership and learning to follow one’s “why” to find success and happiness in life.

Students also focus on advanced weight training, learning the correct ways to train to increase performance and limit injury.
