Ste. Genevieve Parish recently completed its Vacation Bible School with the theme “Marvelous Mystery: the Mass Comes Alive!”
Co-directors were Sr. Bernadette Marie Donze and Sr. Rose Catherine Grass, Valle Catholic High School graduates and Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia.
Over 40 youth and adult volunteers joined the sisters to help more than 70 children look more deeply at the Mass as a mystery, a meal, a gift, a call, and a celebration. They participated in daily faith lessons, music, crafts, games, snacks and times of prayer.
The children completed their week with Mass on Friday morning, June 26th and will celebrate Mass with the parish on Sunday, June 28th at 10:30 am.
