Alexis Barley ’15 Allen has been teaching for two years. She attended Meramec Community College, and then the University of Missouri-St. Louis. As a college student, she worked at a Montessori School in Kirkwood, MO. Lexy is also the coach of the Valle Catholic High School Dance Team.
Fun facts:
I have been married to my husband Tyler for three years and we have three beautiful children. Knox, who is 2, and our most recent additions, Ivy and Iyla, who were born in April. I love spending time with my family, going to Target with Mrs. Roth, and going to the beach.
What do you love most about teaching at Valle Catholic?
“I absolutely love how small the class sizes are. It allows me to get to know the students better and build a better connection with them. The staff is amazing and so supportive of one another. The faith aspect that Valle instills in all of the staff and children is so rewarding.”
Why is Catholic education important?
“The Catholic education is import because it allows children the opportunity to strengthen their relationship with God.”
