The traditional Blue vs. Green game in this olde towne is always a cause for excitement. Getting ready for the 53rd Edition of the Old Settlement Showdown was no different.
During the morning of Blue & White Day, Valle Warrior football players walked the halls of Valle similar to the “Senior Walk” in the spring. Football players were led by Valle torch bearer, senior Tristan “Truck” Huck.
The younger Warriors wished the players, “Good Luck” with high fives, cheers, and applause.
The players also visited with their young friends during recess.
To get everyone fired up for the big game, Student Council held a K-12 pep rally that included the traditional school song, music and fun.
One game during the pep rally featured little Warriors helping the senior football players eat some baby food.
To conclude the Pep Rally, the 2016 Homecoming Royalty was announced.
All of this helps the students learn about being team players while getting to know some of the big guys they admire.
