World War 2 enthusiast and collector, Chris Kertz, displayed and told about various uniforms, tools, food items and utensils, and artillery that was used during this era to Valle Catholic Fifth Graders in Mrs. Kertz’s Social Studies Class.
The students compared the uniforms of the Navy, the GI soldier and tanker. He showed a Jeep tool kit and accessories, various bullet sizes and artillery projectiles all of which were used during World War 2.
The United States and its allies fought and won World War 2, the most widespread and costliest war in history.
