Preschool Teacher (2 and 3 year olds)

Connie Hermann has been an educator for 33 years. She was the owner/operator of a Missouri State Licensed Daycare for 16 years before joining the Valle Catholic family. She began as a Preschool aide, taught Preschool and is now the Early Preschool teacher.

Most people do not know that her given name is Concetta. It’s from the Latin “Cencepta” meaning “conceived”, a reference to the Immaculate Conception. Her paternal grandmother gave her the nickname “Doodle”. She assumes it’s because she loved to draw when she was a child, and still does today.

What do you love most about teaching at Valle Catholic?
“I think the thing I love most about teaching at Valle Catholic is that I get to teach Religion to our 3 and 4 year olds. I love seeing their faces light up when they remember details of a bible story we are talking about and they get to tell the story in their own words. Also, the Valle family, I know people say that we are a family all the time … but I know we are. I have seen and felt it on numerous occasions over the last few years. We truly have each others’ backs no matter what!”

To our students …
“I would like to take this opportunity to welcome YOU to our family here at Valle Catholic. YOU are important to us and we want YOU to know we will always keep YOU safe and loved! YOU belong here and YOU will grow here in faith and academics.”
