On Monday, November 9th Easter Seals Midwest presented Mr. Aaron Likens, motivational speaker and author of many books including Finding Kansas, to the students at Valle Catholic.
Aaron spoke with grades 5-8 about what it is like to have autism and live on the ‘autism spectrum”. He explained the hardships he endured and how he overcame them. He spoke with a humor the students could relate to while educating them on this important topic. After his presentation, Aaron fielded questions from the students for over 30 minutes.
