Homecoming has traditionally been celebrated by high school/college students from a school/university and alumni, but at Valle Catholic in Ste. Genevieve – everyone gets into the Homecoming spirit!

Each year the 5th Graders create Homecoming floats out of shoeboxes. The students come up with their own designs and execute their ideas using art supplies, trinkets, toys, dolls, popsicle sticks, glue, and tissue paper.  The Warriors met the Herculaneum Black Cats in the Homecoming Game on October 7th so there were several 5th Grade floats that used “Flatten the Cats” or “Scaredy Cats” as a theme.  Some of the floats showcased the Homecoming Royalty.  During Homecoming Week the 5th Graders held a mini parade through the classrooms.
