Kate Meyer has been teaching for eight years. She is a graduate of Northwest High School in Cedar Hill. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from Southeast Missouri State in 2004. While finishing her degree, she subbed for the Farmington School District and decided she loved being in the classroom with students. She was a teacher’s aide for 10 years when she decided to go back to school to earn a degree in Education from Central Methodist University.

She loves being outdoors with her husband and their family, including six grandkids. She likes water sports, gardening, biking, wood working, oil painting, and, until Covid-19, was playing volleyball weekly with friends.

What do you love most about teaching at Valle Catholic?
“I love finding students who have gifts for working with their hands, solving problems in unique ways, and who excel at mechanical and abstract reasoning.

I also love being a part of the Valle family. What a great team to belong to.”

To our students …
“I hope that all of YOU enjoy math class as much as I do, and maybe learn to like math more by the end of year.”
