Valle Catholic Kindergarten celebrated Thanksgiving Week with a special reading of the story “Stone Soup” followed by a feast dressed as Pilgrims and Indians. After reading the story, each student was invited to bring an item for the Thanksgiving feast. The students made their own stone soup, friendship fruit salad, turkey sandwiches, and cranberry sauce. They decorated place mats depicting who or what they are thankful for. Kindergarten is under the direction of Elizabeth Bertrand and Amy Wood with assistance from Carol Klein.
