Every seven years all parish schools in the Archdiocese of St. Louis are required to participate in the “Process for Elementary School Improvement”.
All schools are accredited by the Missouri Nonpublic School Accrediting Association. The Association is a member of the National Association of Non-Public School State Accrediting Associations which is recognized by the US Department of Education. The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education also recognizes this Association.
Accredited schools must provide an annual report to the Association that indicates that the school is meeting Association’s Membership Standards and is making progress towards meeting the Association’s Improvement Standards. An Archdiocesan team then visits the school.
Valle Catholic recently had their visit from an Archdiocesan personnel team consisting of school administrators, classroom teachers and Archdiocesan officials. These visitors spent two days at Valle visiting classrooms, interviewing staff, parents, and students, and examining the document submitted by the Valle Catholic faculty. At the conclusion of the visit, the team from the Archdiocese made a presentation to the Valle Catholic School Improvement committee and discussed the long range plan for improving the school.
On the final day of the visit, a special all school Mass was held with the theme, VIRTUES. Here are some photos from the Mass.

Middle School Ambassadors
Throughout the visit, the Archdiocesan team was assisted by the Valle Catholic Middle School Ambassadors. This group of Warriors served as greeters, tour guides, prayer leaders, gift bearers, and meal servers.
