Mother Nature had other plans this past week for Valle Catholic’s juniors and seniors who were scheduled to attend the annual March for Life in Washington DC.  Valle was closed Wednesday and Thursday because of snow and due to the blizzard conditions on the east coast, their annual trek was cancelled.

Resorting to Plan B, students and staff, K-12 participated in their own March for Life around the town square in Ste. Genevieve. The silent march was held on Friday afternoon, January 22nd, the anniversary of the Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion.

#WhyWeMarch

The mission of the March for Life held each year in Washington DC, is to provide all Americans with a place to testify to the beauty of life and the dignity of each human person. The March unites and strategizes around a common message, and communicates a message to the government, the media and the nation in a way that is powerful and life-affirming.
