Cole Wood, son of Amy (Seibel) and Ron Wood is the 2017 Dr. Martin Luther King Model of Justice Winner from Valle Catholic. Recipients from high schools across the Archdiocese are chosen as people who embody faith, leadership and service. After his graduation, Cole plans to attend Missouri State in Springfield and major in Pre-Med.

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Model of Justice Award is presented annually to Catholic high school students who have demonstrated a commitment to service to humanity through their attitude and their work in the broader community. These students have made justice a central part of their lives and have committed themselves “to the noble struggle for equal rights.”
