*VHS students teach Science lessons

Each year, Mrs. Boyer’s Environmental Science students from Valle Catholic High School visit classrooms in the grade school to lead the students in various lessons and activities.
<div>On April 22, 1970, the first Earth Day was held. People all over the country made promises to help the environment. Everyone got involved and since then, Earth Day has spread all over the planet. People all over the world know that there are problems that need to be worked on and this is the special day to look at the planet and see what needs changing and what needs celebrating.</div>

Kindergarten, first and second grade students pulled weeds and picked up trash during their morning recess time to celebrate Earth Day while being thankful for God’s gifts!
