Valle Catholic advanced to the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP with a 37-14 win over Mid Buchanan Saturday afternoon at Ste. Genevieve High School’s Dragon Field. (Thanks again to the Ste Gen administration for all their help.) The Warriors pretty much played like true Warriors holding Mid Buch to 77 yards rushing and 8 first downs. Valle had 470 yards of total offense. Everybody played with heart. As Coach Judd Naeger said in the postgame interview, “Championship teams grind the clock.” They are, and they did!
