*100th Day of School

Each year many students and teachers celebrate the one-hundredth day of school. Many participate in events that observe this day. Valle Catholic celebrated their 100th Day on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.

100 of anything is special! Celebrations and observances commemorating reaching the 100 mark occur throughout the world. People everywhere observe the end of a century or a millennium, and the dawn of a new era.

Kindergarten put their creativity on display for others with their annual “100 Fashion Walk”.

A few highlights:

Oliver wore 100 lifesavers on his shirt and then shared them with his class at the end of the day.

Waylon wore baseballs and gloves on his shirt because he loves Valle baseball!

Kacy had 100 Warrior stickers because she loves her school. She said Valle is the best and we all agreed!

Elizabeth’s shirt had 100 crosses because she loves Jesus.

We ate cookies for snack time that made the number 100.
We are working on the 100 word challenge.

Doing the “Go Noodle-100 Day Challenge on our whiteboard.

Sporting our 100 day hats and shirts.

Posing with our 5th grade prayer angels. It was kindergartens first 100 day celebration and 5th grade is close to celebrating their 1000th day of school!

100th Day of School

100 days of school in all,
100 days of school,
We managed to count a large amount,
100 days of school in all!

How did we get 100 days?
100 days of school?
We started the fun with number 1,
Counting the days of school in all!

1 day of school at first,
Then 2, then 3, then 4.
We got up to 10, but didn’t stop then,
We went to 100 days in all!

20, 30, 40 days,
50 days and more!
60, 70, 80, 90,
Up to 100 days in all!

100 days of school in all,
100 days of school,
We managed to count a large amount,
100 days of school in all!
