The Valle Catholic Cross Country team enjoyed a team dinner with family members at the Kozy Kitchen on Thursday evening.
Then after attending 8:00 Mass on Friday, and receiving a blessing from Fr. Greg, the team departed for Jefferson City for the state competition as the school gave them a send off on the Valle Desert.
The girls cross country team placed 2nd at District, qualifying to run at state. Qualifying team members are:

Madison Otte
Mary Roth
Nicole Valle
Rachel Valle
The following girls won a medal in the top 15 at District and qualify for State:
Nicole Valle 4th
Madison Otte 5th
Rachel Valle 6th
Mary Roth 9th
On the boys side, Tommy Otte won 11th place medal and Daniel Kuenzel won 13th place medal at District and they qualify to run at the state competition.
The team is coached by Samer Zoughaib and Kelsea Inman.
