The Valle Catholic Kindergarten Class of 2015-2016 held their Mass of Celebration on Thursday, May 21, 2016 at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Pastor Father Dennis Schmidt was the celebrant.
Kindergarten students served in all the liturgical roles as readers, Ben Oberle and Landon Woodward; gift bearers, Luther Sellers, Grace Cox, Caleb Luttrell, Alex Thorne, Bentley Graham; psalm readers, Kale Schmelzle Maxton Bahr, Brody Wolk; Presentation narration, Robert Rehm, Ethan Wolk, Mason Kertz; Super Hero Poem read by Logan Wise, Maria McGuire, Cecilia Meyer and Cullen Huck; and petitions by Kai Siebert, Mikayla Basler, Jayci Palmer, Paige Schwent.
Students were assisted by Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Elizabeth Bertrand and Mrs. Amy Wood. Cantor was Mrs. Teresa Caba and organist was Mr. Al Keiser.
During the Mass and before the presentations of certificates by Principal, Dr. Mark Gilligan, the students added their capes and masks as “Super Heroes for Jesus”. Following Mass a reception was held for students and families at the DuBourg Centre.
