Dear Valle Friends and Families

It has come to our attention that many have not been formally introduced to our new Assistant Boys’ Basketball Coach. As we get ready to kick off our 2017-2018 Basketball Season, I regret that the lack of a formal announcement about his addition to our staff may have been an oversight on our part. All should know that we are thrilled to have Mr. Terry Parmenter joining our coaching staff and the Valle Athletic Family.

Mr. Parmenter comes to us as a new member to our community as he and his son moved to town this past summer. He is a retired Air Force Veteran, and he is also a retired railroad worker. During his professional travels and deployments, he has consistently served as a coach in youth programs, public and private schools, and at the university level. His coaching experiences include baseball, tennis, basketball, and football in schools in Vermont, New York, Missouri, and Virginia. His university level experience includes appointments at Ferrum College and Emory & Henry College. He also has volunteer coaching ties to St. Bonaventure in New York.

Mr. Parmenter is a welcome addition to our basketball program, and we look forward to his involvement and to sharing his expertise with our students and staff. If you see him roaming our halls, our community, or especially the gymnasium, please introduce yourself and help make him feel welcome. He is a positive motivational leader, and I am certain you will enjoy speaking with him.

Go Warriors!!!!
