This year the Valle Catholic Schools Patrons Club sponsored a Spring Fling, a night of fun and games for all students and their families. The inaugural event was held on May 3, 2017.
The evening began with the final 2016-2017 Valle Patrons Club meeting. The new Valle Catholic “President”, Father Edward Nemeth introduced himself to the gathering and announced two opportunities for getting to know him: 1) “Meet the President” social on Tuesday, May 16th at 6:30pm in the DuBourg Centre (babysitting provided) and 2) “Coffee with the President” after the Mother’s Day Mass on Thursday, May 18th at the DuBourg.
Due to the weather all the Spring Fling games had to be moved to the gym, but the rain didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the participants. Some of the Spring Fling events were the Cake Walk, photo booth, and ring toss. Middle school and high school students ran the events. Mrs. Joggerst was there with her KONA truck as well.
The organizers (Jodi Kutz, Brittany Wehner, Roxanne Meyer, Beth Naeger, and Kaci Meyer) hope to make the Spring Fling an annual event.
