Valle Catholic placed second in the boys’ and girls’ divisions during the Class 1, District 1 track and field meet on Saturday, May 6th.
The Warriors produced sectional qualifiers in 13 events while the Lady Warriors advanced in eight.
Brendan Meyer won the discus throw and was runner-up in the shot put and javelin. Ryan Grein moved forward in the high jump and both hurdles races.
The Valle Catholic boys landed top-four results in all four relays with Caleb Hoog participating in three of them. Mason Skaggs also booked a spot in three sectional events.
Lainey Bauman highlighted the Valle Catholic girls by qualifying in four events, including a victorious 4×100 relay. She was second individually in the 200 and 400.
Senior Allison Bahr also advanced four times while running second in the 800 and 1600. Three relay squads for the Lady Warriors kept their seasons alive.
