To tap into all the fun and excitement of the 2018 Winter Olympics and the Valle Catholic “Kindness Olympics”, 4th and 5th Graders had their own version of Olympic competition on Friday, February 16th. Events included bobsled, hockey, luge, figure skating, curling, and biathlon.
Instead of snow, ice, skis, rifles, sleds and skates, the students used quarters, paper towel rolls, marshmallows, Hot Wheels cars, and rolled up socks!
It was a ‘Gold Medal’ time had by all.
