*Final Bellarmine Speech Meet

The Valle Catholic Grade School Bellarmine speech team recently finished its 2014-15 year of speech presentations.
On Saturday, April 25, the final speech meet was held at St. John Vianney High School in Kirkwood. Students from all participating archdiocesan schools perform their speeches for four judges and ribbons are awarded based on total scores. Trophies are awarded to the top 20% of participants.
Mary Roth was awarded a blue ribbon for her serious solo “A Kitten Goes Adopting” by Leota Hulsa Black.  Bryce Palmer was awarded a trophy for his humorous solo “Ninth Street Bridge” by Bill Cosby.  Daniel Kuenzel and Ericka Loida were awarded a gold ribbon for their duet “Anybody Want My Sister” by Ken Bradbury.  The team is coached by Sheila Roth.  Congratulations to the Valle speech team on a fantastic year!
