You may know that our high school library is named after the late Sandy Molitor, VHS librarian. Sandy had three children who graduated from Valle: Chris, Sarah and Katie. Sarah died right before her high school graduation in a car accident. Katie, who graduated in 1998 recently lost a second baby boy, Jackson, to an unknown probable genetic anomaly.
In lieu of flowers, Katie and her husband are asking that books be donated to the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. There will be a drop basket by the register at the Scholastic Book Fair if you’d like to donate a book in memory of baby Jackson.
